News: The Chicago Tribune reports that Aramis Ramirez will have one final workout on Thursday at Wrigley Field before the Cubs decide whether to place him on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to April 25. “We’ve gone about as far as we can without an extra infielder,” manager Lou Piniella said of the five-game stretch.
