News: Seattle’s Ichiro Suzuki extended his hitting streak to 24 games with four hits including a home run on Sunday in a 9-8 loss to the Angels. Suzuki’s hitting streak is the longest in the majors at the moment, and one game shy of the franchise record he set in 2007. The homer was Ichiro’s fifth of the season.
