Hinch indicated on Thursday that “there’s an increasing chance that Brandon Webb will start the season on the disabled list,” according to the Associated Press. Webb “has not thrown a bullpen session for a week after saying he felt ’stagnant’ and was not making the progress he expected.”

Our View: Webb’s fantasy stock has steadily fallen to this spring, to the point where now he can only reasonably be called a late-round flier. He should not go undrafted, but you cannot be building a staff around him.
